UCI's Direct client is looking for Sr. NetScout Network Consultant with following qualification experience and long-term project in Brooklyn, New York.
Scope Of Services:

Assign port for NetScout management ports and IP addresses.
·
Assign port for SPAN port to mirror traffic that needs to monitor.
·
Add tap links to the production path without impacting traffic.
·
Configure the SPAN port for port-mirroring.
·
Configure IP assignments for NetScout devices.
·
Validate packet capture on each device and set thresholds for alerts.
Mandatory Skills/Experience:
·
Twelve (12) years of experience in the field of networking, routing protocols.
·
Must have hands-on experience with BGP, MPLS, OSPF routing protocols in a large environment.
·
Minimum 12 years’ experience in deep packet inspection technologies, and roll-out of NetScout Infini stream.
·
The candidate must be able to follow a hybrid work schedule of 3 days per week on-site and 2 days per week remote.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
·
nGeniusONE Configuration: Expert-level ability to build Service Dashboards, custom Monitors, and Alerting Profiles based on ASI (Adaptive Service Intelligence) data.
·
Experience in MPLS, EIGRP, OSPF, iBGP, eBGP, IS-IS routing protocols.
·
Detailed understanding of deploying management protocols (SNMPv3, Syslog, NetFlow, etc.) 4 yrs.
·
Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
·
Ability to work in cross functional teams; excellent attention to detail.
·
Experience reviewing project design and system documents 4 yrs.
·
Experience is designing including network architectural designs in MS Visio is desired.
·
Familiarity with City of New York network infrastructure environments and processes.
·
Advanced "Packet-level" troubleshooting skills. Must be proficient in deep-packet inspection (DPI) and decoding complex application flows (HTTP/S, SQL, DNS, VoIP/SIP
