Job Description
Netcool Operations Insight Consultant
Mandatory Skills
Hands on experience on NOI product suite installations, upgrades, and environment setup.
Hands on experience on IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps product suite installations, upgrades, and environment setup.
Proficiency with Operating Systems such as Linux, and windows and OpenShift on openstack
Hands-on experience on IBM Tivoli Netcool Components such as Object Servers, DASH/JAZZ, Probes, Gateways, Impact policies
Hands-on experience on installation and configuration of various IBM Tivoli Netcool Components and IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps
Proficient with Event correlation rules, lookups development for Netcool probes.
Proficient with policy development for Netcool Impact.
Proficient with dashboards, filters, views development for Netcool WebGUI.
Proficient with automations and triggers for Netcool Omnibus.
Proficient in Unix Shell Scripting and Perl Scripting.
Good understanding of SNMP protocol and MIBs as used in Network Management domain.
Should have experience in writing the DB2 / SQL queries.
Good analytical skills and Issue resolving skill.
Good communication Skills.
Troubleshooting production problems and working effectively with other team members to identify and address problems.
Job Responsibilities
Design solutions and technical architecture for IBM Netcool Operations Insight & IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps
Identifying gaps & issues in existing solutions, pain points, critical & automation requirements, and value-added services
Develop proposed design solutions with architecture and deployment plan for implementation of requested enhancements.
Create a High-level and Low-level design document for proposed IBM Netcool Operations Insight & IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps
Recommend improvements to IBM Netcool Operations Insight & IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps System design strategies, processes and methodologies.
Provide recommendations for the long term strategic and operational plan of the IBM Netcool Operations Insight & IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps
Design HA [High Availability] and DR [Disaster Recovery] on IBM Netcool Operations Insight & IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps
Analyze implementation risk and any potential impact on the IBM Netcool Operations Insight & IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps.
Required Education
Masters or Engineering degree

15+ years of relevant experience
