Job Title: Sr. LIMS Coordinator Location: Summit, NJ Duration : 1 Year Exp : 9 to 12+ Years Primary Skill Set Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or technical discipline 5+ years of related experience, including at least 2 years of experience managing/administering laboratory systems in a GMP or GLP environment Experience with change control and software validation Knowledge of Labware is strongly preferred. Knowledge of LIMS Basic coding is preferred but not required Knowledge of ELN (Enterprise Laboratory Notebook) application preferred Working knowledge of QC laboratory operations preferred Knowledge of NWA (Northwest Analytical) preferred Secondary Skill Set N/A Roles and Responsibilities Responsible for managing changes through different environments using the change management tool ServiceNow. Responsible for updating SDLC documents related to enhancements and defects of the application. Participate in testing during validation of instrument or site specific application interfaces Configure Master Data for new analysis when LIMS Basic is not required. Maintain local user security by creating user profiles and setting access rights Assist with creating custom and/or ad-hoc reports and trend analyses using the LIMS capabilities Conduct training for new staff or new functionalities inside the company when needed. Work with Global LIMS IT team to ensure system performance and troubleshoot as necessary. Lead projects when integration of the LIMS system is required with other IT systems Assist the company and appropriate staff during various audits and assessments of operations Assist in designing and continuously improving LIMS systems, particularly within areas of software systems Write and review departmental and interdepartmental SOPs involving LIMS Assist with review, analysis, reporting and trending of analytical data that may include environmental/utility monitoring, in-process, lot release, and/or product related testing The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by this role, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required.
