Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MuleSoft Platform Administrator with 12+ years of IT experience and strong hands-on expertise managing MuleSoft environments, deployments, and platform administration. The role involves supporting platform operations, optimizing runtime environments, enhancing Mule applications, and ensuring scalable, secure, and high-quality integrations across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer, build, deploy, and monitor MuleSoft artifacts on Runtime Fabric (RTF) hosted on Kubernetes clusters.

  • Configure policies and manage APIs using MuleSoft API Manager.

  • Optimize MuleSoft platform performance through monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.

  • Work with cross-functional technical and business teams to gather requirements and document detailed integration and process flows.

  • Support enhancements, maintenance, and deployment of existing Mule applications.

  • Implement best practices for MuleSoft packaging, deployment strategy, and API governance.

  • Configure and manage Anypoint Platform including identity management, client and access roles, VPN, and networking configurations.

  • Ensure security standards, reusable integration patterns, and platform reliability.

  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment to drive successful integration outcomes.

Required Qualifications
  • 12+ years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on experience as a MuleSoft Platform Administrator.

  • Strong knowledge of MuleSoft Runtime environment (Hybrid deployments) and Anypoint Platform.

  • Experience managing Runtime Fabric (RTF) and Kubernetes-based deployments.

  • Working knowledge of Linux commands and scripting for operational and admin tasks.

  • Understanding of enterprise integration patterns including Microservices, messaging, queuing, and API lifecycle management.

  • Experience implementing MuleSoft enterprise security concepts including client policies, role-based access, and secure API practices.

Technical Skills
  • Primary: MuleSoft Platform Admin, Mule 4.4+ and DataWeave

  • Good to Have: Java 8 / Java 17, Kubernetes, EKS, RTF, Linux, Splunk, networking concepts

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and performance tuning for MuleSoft workloads.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes and DevOps practices related to Mule deployments.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
