Title: MS SQL Database Administrator Duration: 1 Year + Location: Linthicum Heights, Maryland Job Description 1. Writes complex SQL queries and stored procedures. 2. Creates, monitors, and maintains MS SQL databases. 3. Performs database administration and maintenance. 4. Maintains the security of the system. 5.Verifies and maintains the integrity of information in multiple databases 6. Performs system upgrades. 7.Develops reports to solve business problems with experience in team facilitation, and problem resolution Writes and tests scripts used to build, restore, dump, and/or maintain databases; 8. Designs and implements testing routines to identify and resolve (de-bug) conflicts and potential operating malfunctions; 9. Analyzes database architecture and monitors disk-usage to maintain integrity of database(s) and/or servers, and reconfigures or relocates data for optimal performance; 10. Documents procedures, and provides user information and training materials; 11. Troubleshoots and resolves malfunctions with databases, servers, operating platform/database interfaces, and networked systems; 12. Confers with end-users to identify user needs, and with vendors regarding programming and/or systems upgrades; 13. Develops and implements action plans, system modifications to support user accuracy, data integrity and system reliability
