MicroStrategy Architect @ St. Louis, MO for 12+ Months contract
JOB SUMMARY
The ideal Candidate is an expert MicroStrategy Architect and will deliver reporting and dashboard solutions for our business partners. The Candidate must have multiple years of expertise in using the MicroStrategy Tool set and should be well versed in all aspects of the product. Candidate should have a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling. Candidate needs to be able to understand macro level requirements and convert them into actionable tasks to deliver a technically sound product. Candidate should be able to work in teams in a collaborative manner. Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Develop the semantic layer and metadata to support analysis and reporting.
- Research and conduct Impact analysis of changing schema and data model requirements.
- Provide Design recommendations leveraging MicroStrategy expertise.
- Responsible for delivering against project schedules and activities, requiring validation and certification of global changes to schema or feature design.
- Provide feedback on system performance, tune queries/reports for better performance.
