Microsoft 365 Tenant to Tenant Migration Engineer

Location: Remote

Job Description

Tenant to Tenant Migration

  • MS Intune Build and Handover project
  • 200 Windows OS laptops/desktops + 100iOS devices migration to new Intune tenant
  • SaaS only environment, no Intune OnPremise integration included, no application packaging in scope
  • MS Defender for Endpoint is not managed by Intune team, nevertheless MS Defender requirements configurable in Intune will be managed by Intune team
  • Assumptions and In Scope features/Functionalities

In scope:
Tenant to Tenant migration:

  • Configure Quest tools to migrate the user's data from source to target tenants
  • Configure Entra ID Connect for AD sync and Password sync in the target tenant
  • Migrate ~20 sites in SharePoint online from source to target tenants
  • Migrate ~2TB of OneDrive for Business data from source to target tenants
  • Migrate ~115 user's mailbox data from source to target tenants
  • The average mailbox size is ~28.5GB, with a total of 2.8TB of mailbox data to migrate
  • Migrate ~4.5TB of archive mailbox data to the target tenant
  • Migrate the ~135 Workstations from the Source Azure AD to the Target Azure AD
  • Review target Intune device management policies
  • Serve are currently in the target AD and will not require migrating
  • Customer to own the responsibility of procuring the Office 365 E5,E3,E1 M365 F3 licenses required for tenant-to-tenant migrations
