Relevant Experience
(in Yrs) 3 - 5+ years
Technical/Functional Skills: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a MES Commissioning Engineer with PLC Controls understanding. Should understand controls logic development and also have experience in configuring HMI/SCADA system on shop floor. Should have worked on Automotive shop floor and commissioned MES. Experience with MES (any product e.g., Apriso, Rockwell, Camstar, etc.) in Discrete or Batch Manufacturing
Experience Required:
• Experience in MES implementation and specifically commissioning on shop floor
• Experience in testing MES solution with line GO LIVE and cut over activities
• Experience with MES functionalities and its integration with shop floor systems
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders (Operations, Manufacturing / Process engineers), peer teams during issue resolution
• Experience in automotive shop floor will be added advantage.
Perform requirements gathering and creating requirement documentation
Roles & Responsibilities:
• MES solution support & Commissioning.
• Strong understanding of control layer protocols and experience of working with Allen Bradley PLCs.
• Attend to the tickets/issues raised by operators and provide resolution
• Experience on OPC products
• Troubleshooting skills on various PLC’s, scanners, HMI, SCADA, Printers etc
• Develop test plans to validate MES solution and line commissioning in Automotive industry
• Perform Root cause analysis and track issues to resolution
Willing to work on Shop/Factory Floor, work in day or night shift based on business requirement (might need to stand/walk, work close to shop/factory equipment’s during work hours)
Generic Managerial Skills As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will work alongside customer’s engineers on shop floor to train them in MES system and drive the MES implementation/commissioning activities for various line in plants.
Education Bachelor/MS of Industrial Engineer / Computer Engineering or equivalent exposure to the IT industry
