Sr. Merchandise Planning Business Architect –Katy, Texas, Day 1
Work Experiences:
8 or more years of analysis experience including demonstrated experience in leading system changes and system analysis, preferably in the retail industry
Very good Experience in process mapping / process flows / process modeling required?
Analytical thinker, good ability to listen and communicate and effectively articulate?
Responsibilities:
Lead discussions with project and business teams to understand and document current state and desired process flows, use cases, and mockups
Lead discussions with project and business teams to understand and document business requirements, making recommendations in their domain / application related areas
Define & document Non Functional Requirements related to Performance, Compliance, Security, Training, SOD and SLAs
Provide recommendations to business process changes internally within IT & to business partners
Understands impacts of integrations from and to domain and drive cross team discussions of impact analysis while creating applicable deliverables
Lead discussions and ensure understanding of functional changes to the IT design, development & testing teams
Serve as Functional expert in designing end to end test scenarios and ensures all necessary test cases are captured
Lead UAT efforts through data/environment setup, managing defects, and providing status updates
Lead and participate in all Go Live related activities including Implementation Plan creation, code promotion preparation, post Go Live stabilization, and Hypercare
Lead and coordinate knowledge transfer sessions and create deliverables for transition of changes to the IT Support team
Qualifications:
Deep understanding of Planning Application is necessary . SAS MFP/AP will be preferred.
Knowledge of core merchandising application is preferred.

Experience in representing complex issues based on comprehensive analysis in a holistic and understandable manner.?
Demonstrated experience leading workshops with senior level participants?
Able to brainstorm and lead efforts to gather, document and validate requirements where business expertise is lacking or non-existent i.e. “find a way” and accomplish the mission?
Demonstrated ability in advanced system analysis and problem solving
