Sr Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview:
The employee will assist in design, test, and documentation of best-in-class high volume wireless mobile
communication products. The employee must be self-motivated with a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
Design plastic, sheet metal, die-cast, and rubber parts for wireless consumer products.
Demonstrated ability to prototype, design, and develop products that are successfully manufactured in
high volumes.
Work hands-on in a fast-paced environment. Ability to deal with ambiguity/uncertainty and a
willingness to try new/challenging things.
Maintain relationships with vendors and initiates part orders for prototypes.
Independently plan, manage and prioritizes tasks/projects, tracks progress toward overall goals, and
provides periodic updates to management.
Thoroughly document all aspects of the design via detail mechanical part drawings.
Compiles and evaluates design and test data, prepares technical specifications, analyzes technical data
to determine specifications;
Ability to effectively communicate design proposals and negotiate options.
Experience/Requirements:
Must have at least 3 years of experience with plastic injection, sheet metal, and diecast part design.
Must have at least 3 years of experience with Pro Engineer/Creo.
Must have at least 3 years of experience with FEA software (Mech
