Job Description :
Critical to business operations, business analytics, and application development. Works with project and business leaders to identify master data management requirements; design, develop, implement, and maintain master data solutions; leads the overall direction and execution of key data quality strategies, analyzing data for full life cycle of a project and guide development team with technical Integration via API or ETL
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Responsible for delivering medium to large-scale, complex MDM implementations using Informatica MDM that marry processes with technology to help clients achieve high performance.
* Defines, architects, develops, or supports solutions using MDM to achieve a defined business outcome.
* Ability to understand complex data models and business processes relating to master data domains such as customer, party, organization (and hierarchy)
* Responsible for ensuring high-quality design of dimensional models and data mapping
* Provides detailed documentation, end user training and knowledge-transfer services
* Establishes information management business and functional requirements
* Translates requirements into actionable project initiatives with associated metrics
* Day-to-day technical management of MDM Technical Team
* Preparation of technical project documentation
* Designing and architecting integrations between MDM systems and other systems using standard connectors, publish-subscribe, and other mechanisms
* Resolves issues throughout the development lifecycle
* Extensive experience leading complex data management engagements
* Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
* Acts as a SME to explain all facets of MDM data exchange and processing, business user involvement, and overall architecture acting as a liaison between Business and Technology teams
* Works with the business define business process and use cases associated with the use of critical data identified for master data management (Location, Patient, Payer, and Provider)
* Performs data profiling, data modeling, identifies, and maps the data sets associated with the business use cases outlining meta data, and definitions associated with those elements required by the business to be under master data management
* Determines the data quality and data cleanse rules required to maintain the datasets.
* Defines the Merge and Match rules for MDM
* Works with data integration platform team define the solution integration architecture and strategy for how master data will be ingest and egressed from various applications and partners
* Assists and supports the business with their definition of data stewardship and ownership models including business data management, approvals, and workflows. (CRUD)
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:
* Bachelor''s Degree; Advanced Degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* Focus in Computer Science, Information Science, or related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
* 12+ years related experience in information management
* 8+ years of data modeling experience. Experience with Party models would be a plus.
* At least three successful end to end multi domain MDM implementation using Informatica MDM
* Has hands-on experience with Informatica MDM Hub configurations - Data modeling & Data Mappings (Landing, staging and Base Objects), Data validation, Match and Merge rules, Active VOS, SIF Framework and MDM User Exits.
* Experience with Azure and cloud architecture.
* Well versed with best practices driven design and development including match rule tuning to ensure timeliness and quality of deliverables.
* Has created MDM Batch Jobs.
* Experience with relational databases and SQL, especially SQL Server DB.
* Exposure to web application servers
* Healthcare domain knowledge (patient, payer, or provider)
* Multiple successful MDM experiences including Practical leadership in master data management & associated tools
* Experience with all MDM deployment models; registry, centralized, consolidated, etc.
* Demonstrates extensive knowledge and exposure to the following Master data and Alignment concepts
* Data Cleansing & Standardization Process
* Data Integration & Data Enrichment
* Hierarchy Management
* A deep understanding of data lifecycle (data profiling, data quality, master data management, data warehouses/marts/staging/ODS)
* Extensive experience in with different business domains and complex domain relationships
* Must have a technical background and be able to lead data integration, data modeling, MDM workflow, etc. through first-hand understanding of the work
* Knowledge in microservices, REST and SOAP APIs
* Good knowledge of SQL
* Ability to lead multi-component, cross-functional programs of high-complexity
