Marine & Propulsion Systems Engineer
on-site in NJ near Rahway, NJ.

Responsible for supporting the design, development, and construction of Main Machinery, ship systems, DPS propulsion and machinery systems and interfaces with shipboard and mission systems for the MSC and US NAVY ship acquisition programs.
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in ship machinery systems experience, has performed Propulsion and DPS system operation, maintenance, and work with design upgrades and or analyses for commercial, MSC, and/or Navy vessels.
- Conduct FMEA analysis and procedural validations to determine suitable configuration and compliance with propulsion motors, power converters, and thrusters and all other DPS redundant components.
- Development of machinery arrangements, weight assessments, propulsion integration and auxiliary systems.
- Validation of Shipyard Deliverables
- knowledge of U.S. Regulatory Body standards and ability to develop and prepare ship machinery documents for compliance with ABS Rules.
