The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in IBM Mainframe technologies and be comfortable working in a production support and development environment. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications Work on batch and online programs using COBOL and JCL Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical solutions Perform code enhancements, bug fixes, and performance tuning Participate in production support, including issue analysis and resolution Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and onsite/offshore teams Prepare and maintain technical documentation Required Skills: Strong experience in COBOL (Batch & Online) Hands-on experience with JCL Experience with CICS and/or IMS Strong knowledge of DB2 and SQL Experience with VSAM datasets Familiarity with Endevor / Changeman / ISPW Experience in batch scheduling tools like Control-M / CA-7 / OPC Nice to Have: Experience in Banking, Financial, Insurance, or Healthcare domains Exposure to Mainframe modernization or migration projects Knowledge of REXX, Easytrieve, or Assembler (basic) Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
