Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Jersey City, NJ

Team is looking for someone who can drive the new Billing migration initiative more from BA stand-point (talk to multiple teams / higher-ups all the way to CIO/CFO level; should have end-to-end system understanding; Agile experience; story authoring experience; Insurance background) and obviously possess leadership skills apart from core Billing knowledge (profile with Majesco billing experience is a ++

Specific responsibilities include:
Requirements gathering from the business users as well as developing system specifications for projects utilizing various methodologies including workshops, focus groups etc.
Work directly with various levels of business users (Marketing managers, content authors, UAT testers) to document requirements, create visual diagrams, review specifications, obtain approval, support UAT, Training and post-production roll-out.
Develop business and technical requirement documents as well as technical specifications.
Supporting quality assurance and user acceptance testing.
Drive solutions via system modifications and/or workflow to implement new processes.
Issue resolution/escalation including prioritization and tracking.
Working with developers to ensure specifications are understood, followed, and implemented properly.
Project management of issues through the entire System Development Life Cycle (SDLC
Tracking issues and maintaining regular updates to project progress.
Create training and procedure guides.
Provide training and hands on workshops for business & IT users.

Professional Qualifications
Experience in client facing roles with expert skills in requirements gathering with the ability to draw out requirements using a variety of methodologies.
Ability to communicate technically complex IT concepts to internal and external business clients.
5 to 7 years of experience in implementing new applications and major enhancements, especially service management tool, in global organizations.
Ability to work with technical teams (developers, architects, QA, infrastructure) and business partners to document and implement system modifications on time and within budget.
Excellent team player with a proven background of individual contribution.
Excellent interpersonal, documentation, communication, and presentation skills.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance or financial services industries.
Demonstrated experience in the implementation of new applications and major system enhancements.

Preferred Technical Skills
Expertise with JIRA, SharePoint, MS Office suite (including Visio)
Experience integrating JIRA with SharePoint (Frontend)
Experience implementing service management (ticket intake) tools
Ability to create wireframes & workflows to contribute towards solution design
SharePoint workflow knowledge a plus
ITIL certification a plus
Understanding of Content Management Systems and MarTech a big plus

Education and Training
Bachelor''s degree in computer science, management information systems, or equivalent working experience in information technology.
Business Analysis certification a plus."
