Mainframe Systems programmer should have skills in Mainframe Install, ZOS upgrade, Parallel Sysplex configurations, storage management, capacity planning, ZOS system performance monitoringtuning. They should be familiar with some of tools related with performance monitoring, CPU utilization and then take necessary actions to improve the performance. Also they should be good at programming language like REXX CLIST.
