· This is specific requirement do not share any mainframe consultant with me , Customer is looking for a Skill Set i.e. candidate should have experienced with usage of IBM IDZ/ RDZ, Zosconnect setup
Overview: Candidate will be helping the mainframe community on their development needs like supporting idz, help debug issues on development thru IDZ, zosconnect setup, new develops solutions for mainframe components. Looking for someone with mainframe skills who can adopt and implement new solutions.
Primary Skills : Mainframe, Cobol, PLI, IMS, DB2, Baseline Coding, Software Packaging, IBM IDZ/ IBM RDZ, BMC Control
Skills Required:
· Working knowledge of host SDLC, component relationships related infrastructure utilities, and the operating environment (ISPF Dialog Manager
Familiarity with host transactional systems and frameworks (CICS, IMS, DB2/SQL, VSAM)
· Experience developing and troubleshooting in COBOL, PL/I, JCL (knowledge of Object/Interface/Aspect oriented programming)
· Experience and Hands on with IBM IDZ OR RDZ usage.
· BMC Control-M experience a plus
Preferred Skills:
· Scripting experience especially in Rexx, but non-mainframe scripting is also valuable
· Any exposure to zOS Connect, Git, Jenkins/UCD a plus
