UX Designer
New York City
Long Term Contract

TASKS & DUTIES
Creates design comps, wireframes and storyboards to help the ideation process and create robust user flows.
Conducts qualitative research with users to better understand and prioritize their pain points and needs.
Communicates UX research findings through robust documentation including personas, user journeys and other artifacts that will inform the design.
Prioritizes users and advocate for them in stakeholder meetings.
Demonstrate fluency in the use of vector graphics; create and utilize font-based iconography such as Font Awesome, Material Icons, EOT, SVG, TTF and WOFF files.
Quickly designs and modifies workflows using Adobe XD.
Creates and maintains related project documentation using Axure, Slack, SharePoint, Word, InDesign, etc.
Creates and/or modifies designs and assets requiring advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Keeps abreast of latest web development technologies, particularly trends in responsive and mobile design.

Application Modernization & Enhancements OR IT DEVELOPMENT & MANAGEMENT

2+ years of experience in:
User experience analysis including user analysis and human centered methodologies
Coding for accessibility and knowledge of WCAG coding practices
Using Axure
Experience building user profiles, user journeys, and other UX artifacts
Experience conducting user research
Expert level knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe CC
Advanced knowledge of CSS and HTML
1+ year of experience using Adobe XD
Working knowledge of Bootstrap 4
