Job description
At least 5+ years’ experience in big data technologies such as Hadoop Hive, Hbase, or other NoSQL based data stores.
Experience in Big Data Infrastructure/Security Architecture required on AWS Cloud.
Hortonworks Distribution Hands on preferred.
Ability to build and maintain Hadoop Cluster and security on AWS Cloud
Users access management using ranger
Installing and maintaining Containerized architecture
Tracking, monitoring and capacity planning of the cluster on day to day basis.
Experience in Jenkins/Maven build.
Spring boot/cloud architecture administration knowledge is preferred.
Strong SQL knowledge is a must
Life Insurance background is an advantage

Job description
At least 8+ years’ experience working with Java 8 and Spring components:[ Core, Boot, Data, MVC, Cloud, Netflix OSS components] is a must.
Technical Expertise in Spring framework [Core, Boot, Data, MVC], Spring Cloud, and Web Services (REST, SOAP) supporting high volume transactions in a Highly Available environment
Containerization experience with applications deployed on Docker.
Advanced knowledge of the AWS platform
Experience with cloud infrastructure support in Linux environment.
Code craftsmanship; rigor in high code quality, automated testing (JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber), and agile engineering best practices.
Experience working with the tools like Eclipse/IntelliJ Idea, CI/CD, DevOps and AWS Cloud enablement
Git, Maven, REST and SOAP.
Hadoop (Hortonworks [HDP]) , HDFS, Hive, Tez, Spark, Oozie, HBase
Preference for those who have programmed in Java/Scala utilizing Hadoop, AWS, Spark, and/or Kafka.
Functional programming experience is desired.
Strong SQL knowledge is a must
Life Insurance background is an added advantage
