Role Description
Serve as the Leader of Solution Architecture providing ATG & Microservices architecture, design and integration expertise for the ecommerce solution• Work with key members of the management team to define and drive technical strategy and architectural direction across the ecommerce and Omni channel Customer facing technology initiatives• Assist in hiring, building and growing a high performance ecommerce application development team• Assess, and recommend, best-of-breed, off-the-shelf commercial and open-source software components• Design architecturally sound solutions and/or recommend alternative approaches to meet business requirements• Ensure the technical quality of project deliverables.• Oversee the architecture and design of new features and functionalities within the eCommerce portfolio• Oversee the designs and the execution of load and performance testing of the ATG infrastructure• Lead new initiatives involving Chatbots, AI, ML and Microservices• Works under limited direction of management

Expert in design and implementation of Omni-channel Commerce platforms, Enterprise Integration solutions, CMS applications, Analytics platforms and development of B2C using Oracle ATG, Interwoven and multiple other Open source technology platforms.• Led and delivered multiple mid to large scale transformational initiatives• Experience in building Omnichannel journey using modern architecture principles of Headless frontend, Microservices, Cloud native design, DevOps and Machine Learning techniques to build globally scalable Commerce platform• Experience in leading organizations to transform their IT/Business Organizations to compete in fast paced disruption happening on Mobile, Social and Conversational Commerce (Chatbot / AI) space leveraging modern application architecture.• Experience in leading overall ecommerce solution architecture with large scale vendor integrations, solution delivery and change management by facilitating the adoption of the new platform and processes across the organization.• Experience in ecommerce REST API architecture based on Microservice, Cloud deployment, Containers, Container Management, Responsive UI• Extensive experience in all phases of Software Engineering including Solution Architecture, Requirements Analysis, Technical design, Hands on development, Production Deployment, Performance Tuning, Team mentoring and Technical Leadership• Demonstrate leadership role in ensuring that new and existing systems are aligned to microservices based architecture driven by Domain Driven techniques & cloud native design patterns.• Expertise in conceiving technical solutions, product/vendor evaluation, introduction of new products to address business problems, Build vs. Buy analysis, leading the software engineering and technology operations teams in delivering technology and functional capabilities for online platforms.• Expert in Performance optimization initiatives, monitoring initiatives, holiday preparedness, Site reliability Engineering practices.• Specialized domain experience of Retail
