Job Description
Apply your analytics and Looker dashboard development experience in support of building and maintaining a new, flagship, client-facing BI tool. This position will work extensively with the broader analytics team, to integrate new data sets, build dashboards, support internal and external users, and perform ongoing enhancements
Be an internal expert in Looker dashboard development and support us through a growth phase of integrating
multiple sources of data into unified dashboards that serve as the primary reporting source for our client base.
Skills:
3+ years' experience in analytics and/or BI tool support, building dashboards and evaluating data.
1+ years developing in Looker.
Skilled in building visualizations in Looker, including strong LookML coding skills.
LookML Certification strongly preferred.
MUST have strong SQL Experience- Candidate will be tested.
AWS/Cloud experience HIGHLY preferred.
Strong proficiency in SQL, preferably in Postgres and/or AWS Redshift.
Understanding of source data optimization for Looker processing
Experience in data analytics or related quantitative field; understand the basics of data analysis, data
manipulation, and seeing the relationships between different data sources
Understanding of relational database design and basic data warehousing concepts
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or life sciences strongly preferred
Knowledge of best practices for dashboard design
Strong written and oral communication skills, must be able to explain data and dashboards to an audience with a variety of technical skills
Passionate about using data to improve patient medication access and affordability
Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment, and take ownership of responsibilities
Ability to effectively use communication tools to work within a team that is not all located in the same office and work independentl
Mindset to continuously learn and develop.
