Job Description :
Role Description: The Performance Tester would need to have at least 3+ years of experience. This Candidate will be a contributing member as part of the Performance Testing Team.

He/ she will coordinate the Performance testing activities from Texas along with Strategic Partners for various Platform based projects/initiatives.

The role involves a lot of coordination, communication and project management skills while working directly with the Line of Business. He/ she will work within the global performance testing team (primarily US and India) to deliver against initiative and small enhancement portfolio objectives.

Responsibilities:

- Gather Perfomance Testing Requirements.

- Conduct system performance testing to ensure system reliability, capacity and scalability.

- Work with testing team to develop performance test plans and cases.

- Develop automated scripts in Vugen for the initiatives using protocols such as Web (HTTP(s)/HTML) and on applications based on Java technologies

- Develop customized codes in the script in C language for optimizing and enhancing Vugen scripts.

- Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for bug fixes.

- Develop automated test scenarios and environments for performance testing.

- Generate test summary reports for management review.

- Analyze root causes of performance issues and provide corrective actions.

- Suggest new tools and techniques to improve testing efficiency.

- Assist in project planning, scheduling, budgeting and tracking activities.

- Provide support in project design, development and deployment activities.

- Review and recommend improvements to existing test procedures

Required Experience and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/B.E. or equivalent

- 8+ years of performance testing experience with at least 4 years of it involving HP Load Runner (mandatory)

- Extensive knowledge and experience of Performance testing and monitoring tools (at least one each) - HP Load Runner v12.5, HP Performance Center12.5, HP Vugen, and HP Analysis tool, Introscope, or Dynatrace

- Testing Coordination experience Full understand of End to End performance test process and experience on how and when to engage different teams such as DBA, Dev or System admins.

- Excellent Soft Skills (Communication via email, phone, live-meeting etc.)

- Good programming experience with any program languages at least 3 years.

- Experience with Agile/ Waterfall development methodologies MS Office (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, & Word)

- Experience in other performance test tools such as Visual Studio Team System (VSTS)

- Knowledge of enterprise integration software technologies such as Web Services, MQ, DB.

- Visio, Gantt chart, and SharePoint experience

- Experience of SAP Performance testing - NetWeaver Portal, SAP PI, ERP, BW, or BPC

- Experience with performance testing of DB2, HANA, IQ, Oracle, and Oracle database analysis (AWR).

- Java and C# programming skills

- Excel Macro programming skills, .NET skills

- Speaking / presentation skills in a professional setting

- Knowledge of test automation and tools

- Experience with Continuous integration with Performance Testing.

- Experience working on Finance Banking domain projects.

- Ability to understand Finance terminologies.

Education: Bachelor's degree

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years

MUST HAVE:

Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in load/performance test scripting
Experience in one of these load testing tools or or
Should have experience and deep understanding various testing methodologies, translating business requirements in to test cases.
Should have written many reusable load test scripts using one of the tools. Identify and analyze low performing areas of the application and work with the developer to fix the problem.
