Title- Linux System Admin
Location- NYC or Pittsburgh, PA (8 days a quarter onsite)
Nashville, TN, Pittsburgh, PA, New York, NY, Boston, MA, or Jersey City, NJ could work too.
Duration- 6 months
Job Description-
Must Haves:
5+ years with Linux
Some scripting for modifications
ThoughtSpot, any ETL or BI tool great to have but not required
Linux Admin whose interested in working with a data analytics / data intelligence team and/or has experience utilizing Data Science/ BI tools like ThoughtSpot or Power BI or ETL tools
Job Summary
- Data Analytics and Data Intelligence group, this role is with ThoughtSpot application (Machine learning BI tool that is also self service)
- This role is to support application installed on Linux
- In the past candidate can be Linux admin or Linux expert. Linux is most important
- After that any ETL tools would be great to have
- Any background on cloud is a plus due to migration need
- Scripting background; they do some modifications, data ingestion, analysis
- Don't need ThoughtSpot, having other PowerBI type tools is good
- This is a replacement position, in a team of 10
- With ETL tools he wants someone who has supported installation and maintenance of these tools
- Flex remote so probably 8 days a QTR onsite.
