The primary responsible role will be for to:
• Work closely with Solution Architect and application developers to identify and specify the complex business requirements and processes (e.g., diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools, etc.).
• Participate in Agile squad and build the Middleware Infrastructure upon agreed Engineering workflow standards
• Work with a cross-functional team leveraging agile development methodologies and tools
• Perform research, analysis, documentation, testing implementation and on-going support for the infrastructure builds.
• Validate tomcat build requirements, leverage automation tools to complete requirements
• Provide all aspects of Middleware provisioning and onboarding (IBM MQ, Tomcat, Liberty, and PingAccess) including initial planning, configuration, deployments, troubleshooting, maintain instances with automation tool
• Also providing the daily status on the JIRA tasks which all is assigned on the board.
• Requires excellent analytical ability for architecture and flows, strong judgment and probe analysis techniques, an in-depth knowledge of business unit’s functions and applications, and broad knowledge of technology platforms
• Mitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.
• Support 24/7 shift coverage for BAU production support. Ready to work in Shift and flexible to work on weekends.
Additional Qualifications:
• Minimum of 6 years of related experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 10+ years’ experience in supporting real time production environments.
• Extensive debugging skills and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with Middleware technologies like IBM MQ, WebSphere, Tomcat, Liberty, Kafka, PingAccess.
• General knowledge of industry principles and familiarity with modern technologies like Amazon cloud, Unix/Linux, virtualization, etc. is good to have but not a requirement.
• Familiar with monitoring and ticketing tools like SNOW, SPLUNK etc.
• Certifications in any one of middleware areas will be a plus.
• Automation knowledge and experience will be a plus.
