Job Description :
  1. Primary responsibility is to manage and support efficient operation and development of process, and procedure in the area of automation. Responsibility Includes management of all aspects of Windows Desktops, VDI infrastructure, Tools and futuristic technologies. Preferred good knowledge of System administration, including account administration, file permissions, access control levels, quality access review, audit documentation, virus protection, and firewall services as related to the Windows environment, operating systems support and maintenance. Provides guidance and tasks to the Engineers for system, process and procedure implementation.
  2. Adhere to standard service level agreements, for a heartbeat and day-to-day support. Exhibits poise and confidence when working with and communicating with our customers and vendors.
  3. Independently resolves problems, Recognizes risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate them. providing customer service and support to all customers internal and external.
  4. Participate in process improvements for the Windows server and Desktop environments. Participates in the review of application supported version for Windows Systems and applications. Provide administration support for operating system upgrades, application upgrades as well as system patch management and maintenance.
  5. Provide statistics and reports to analyze metrics for departmental reporting. Provide tier 2 support and maintenance for Windows desktops and applications.
  6. Provide support to immediate management and execution of assignments for projects.
  7. Extensive Infrastructure testing and software testing, interacting with application owners and development managers
  8. Good knowledge and experience with Project Management methodologies.
  9. Good knowledge on cost estimation for a project/program
  10. Good Management experience: Team management, Change Management, Incident Management and drive changes at enterprise level 11: Excellent communication

8-11 Years Experience in the following:

  • Knowledge of Datacenter Infrastructure and Cloud
  • Good understanding of Windows, VMWare, and multi-tier applications environments
  • Scripting and process Automation experience
  • Extensive knowledge of software testing, application roll-out, project management methodology and frameworks
  • Extensive End User customer support experience
  • Good knowledge of VMWare/VDI or equivalent remote work Tools and technologies
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Products
  • Extensive SDLC experience with some development or Systems programming experience
  • Ability to analyze and trouble-shoot project related issues using different testing methods.
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills (Critical)
  • Ability to facilitate technical requirements gathering and design sessions
  • Collaborate and interpret business and technical needs
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality work products (Critical)
  • Strong customer service skills with internal and external customers (Critical)
  • Must be able to perform assigned tasks with minimum supervision (Critical)
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills
