Lead DevOps Engineer

They are looking for someone with leadership and technical skills.
Candidates should have at least 5 or 5+ years of Strong leadership Experience.
Must Have:
Total Experience- 12 or 12+ Years of Experience with at least 5 or 5+ years of leadership Experience.
1. IBM, MQ, A6E (IBM Infrastructure Bus latest’s version). Datapower, Datastage, Boomi, and Kafka
2. Development Tools (one or more of the following: Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Angular)
3. CICD Tools (Gitlab, Jenkins, Git Runners, and Sonar)
4. CFT (Computer File Transfer) and Linux admin familiarity are preferred
5. Agile Framework experience (Kanban, Jira)
1. Strong communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and fluently in English is required. 2. A strong desire for continuous improvement and learning new technologies
3. Apply CI/CD principles to allow for continuous integration and development (including monitoring)
4. Coaching/mentoring others to share knowledge and improve overall skill level of the team

Responsibility:
Provide technical support for the building, installation, deployment and testing of the solutions, in term of processes, methods and tools required for their activity, as well as standards, assistance and related consulting
Esclated Level 3 technical support to operations teams and assist the project team in resolving deployment issues during business hours. On-call and weekend support is not expected.
This lead position is expected to take responsibility for team ceremonies, lead transverse projects, not as a PM but coordination. For example to help coordinate training and timing of an update to Kubernetes. 40-50% of the work is carrying daily meetings for the team, communicating with counterparts in France, and other leadership duties. The The remainder is training and organizing things like a capture the flag event, etc.
Knowledge in the IBM specific toolsets is not an absolute requirement. Kafka, Boomi are most important, and what is also important is integration of these technologies with Gitlab Jenkins, and coaching teams how to accomplish that in workshops of 2-4 hours a day with different squads.
Duties:
Demonstrates Agile & Lean values to facilitate teamwork on a daily basis. Constantly reflect on how to become more effective and adjusts team norms and standards.
-The continuous integration development practices are implemented.
-Regression testing, performance testing and validation of high risk/critical functionality are automated according to the Test Plan.
-Making sure the application is operable and sustainable for the long run while also making sure the operation teams are autonomous to operate, and applying standards regarding security.
-The continuous delivery is implemented and improving regularly. The frequency of delivery is consistent with project needs and business availability to validate the solution.
The configuration of items is managed on all solution artefacts (application code, system configuration, scripts, batch plan. supervision configuration...) and from development environment to production environment.
