Senior AI/ML Engineer

100% Remote

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior AI/ML Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning and AI solutions. The role involves working closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to build intelligent systems that solve real-world problems and drive business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models
  • Develop scalable AI/ML pipelines and production-grade systems
  • Work with large datasets for data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training
  • Optimize model performance and ensure reliability in production
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into AI solutions
  • Implement and manage MLOps practices (CI/CD for ML, monitoring, retraining)
  • Evaluate and integrate new AI technologies, tools, and frameworks
  • Ensure model governance, explainability, and ethical AI practices
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
  • 5–8+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or related roles
  • Strong programming skills in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, etc.)
  • Experience with ML/DL frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical methods
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Knowledge of data engineering concepts and tools
  • Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with NLP, Computer Vision, or Generative AI
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs and frameworks (LangChain, transformers, etc.)
  • Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop)
  • Knowledge of model deployment tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker)
  • Publications or contributions in AI/ML projects
