Job Description :
 We are seeking a full-time contractor or employee for a Lead Business Analyst Specialist role.
Responsibilities:
  • Consult with business analysts and developers on feasible strategies to incorporate user stories into existing system.
  • Utilize knowledge of process gaps between legacy system and new system to assist in development of detailed requirements gathering to modify new system.
  • Liaise with systems team, program team, business analysts and developers to align enhancement requirements.
  • Expedite development of identified gaps to eliminate unexpected delays.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs.
  • Identify potential project risks and difficulties and recommend solutions.
  • Advise on project, offering solution-design support and best practices.
  • Keep all stakeholders informed through the distribution of project information and project status reports.
  • Monitors and manages project quality to ensure that project deliverables fulfill agency expectations.
  • Works independently and in coordination with TDA staff as assigned, to perform a variety of complicated tasks with a wide degree of creativity and latitude.
 
Required Skills:
  • years of experience serving as liaison between business analysts and IT.
  • years of experience working with USDA’s National School Lunch Program administration.
  • years of experience with OSSE Orchard system requirements gathering and processes.
  • years of experience and knowledge of best practices in system transitions.

Preferred Skills:
  • years of project management
  • Experience with TDA’s TX-UNPS system
  • Managing or providing direction to system developers and business analysts
