Essential Responsibilities
Working under the IT Manager of Quality Engineering''s immediate supervision, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting all facets of Quality automation and support release life cycle. Specific responsibilities include:
* Write test cases in Gherkin for all business requirements
* Develop In-Sprint automation framework and E2E automation framework
* Execute test scripts, test suites, and generate test execution reports for the Management
* Enforce coding standards across the team and provide guidelines to peers
* Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality
* Support deployments to the UAT, Performance, and Production environment
* Launch automated smoke / Regression tests and review output
* Other responsibilities as directed by IT Management
Requirements/Qualifications
* Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or a combination of education and experience
* Lead background preferred
* Minimum of 6-7 years of software quality automation scripts development experience; experience with Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, REST Assured, Java, Maven, Extent Reports
* Experience with test grid or Katalon Studio
* Experience with Selenium Webdriver and/or Cucumber is essential
* Must have a solid understanding or experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) or Test-Driven Development (TDD)
* Strong knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery principles
* Experience managing code and branching strategies within GIT repositories
* Proficient with the cross-browser testing
* Proficient with Team Foundation Server (TFS)
* Knowledge of Cloud-based testing in Azure and/or GCP a plus
* Knowledge of Service Virtualization a plus
* Experience working collaboratively with on-shore and offshore development teams
* Strong attention to detail root cause analysis
* Dedicated problem solver the ability to coordinate between cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
* Proven ability to work under pressure to solve critical issues
* Strong oral and written communicator, good interpersonal skills
* Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, applying sound judgment and critical thinking to complete tasks and resolve issues
