Title - Lab Support Engineer 2
Hours - Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM Cst (Please know that candidates may have times where they will be on call outside of working hours, very rare during contract period.)
Location - ONSITE - Not a remote role must be local to Round Rock, TX
Est Duration -1 Year, possibility to extend and or convert to perm based on performance
Years of Experience -At least two years of experience
Job Overview - Installs and configures computing infrastructure and deploys new servers, equipment and software as required.

Day to Day Responsibilities -
Responsible for assisting in the design of the computing infrastructure within the lab computing environment.
Responsible for deployment of new servers and storage arrays.
Monitor and troubleshoot the technical environment for problems.
Maintain a working knowledge of all documented processes and procedures.
Identify system performance issues and develop tools for better system management.
Ensure that all services are consistently available to all end users.
Provide technical assistance and consulting to the users if necessary.
Complete proactive and preventative system upgrades.
Maintain accurate hardware inventory records.
