Job Description :

The Kyriba SME will lead the design, configuration, and testing of Kyriba Payment Factory and Cash Accounting modules, integrating with enterprise ERP platforms. The role requires deep knowledge of Kyriba’s functional capabilities, ISO 20022 message formats, and end-to-end treasury processes including cash management, payments, bank connectivity, and accounting integration.

Key Responsibilities

The Kyriba SME will lead the end-to-end design, configuration, and testing of Kyriba’s Payments Factory and Cash Accounting modules.

The SME will work closely with the client and the 3rd party vendors to translate business requirements into a scalable, automated treasury process. They will define message flows, configuration blueprints, and mapping logic for ISO 20022 payment and acknowledgment formats (pain.001, camt.053, camt.054).

Configuration responsibilities include setting up payment templates, static beneficiary accounts and bank-specific wire formats, along with implementing cash accounting posting rules and COA mapping for ERP integration. The SME will also configure parsers for daily bank statements and acknowledgments to enable automated reconciliation and status tracking.

During testing and deployment, the SME will define and execute UAT scenarios covering the full cycle, ensuring correct file generation, transmission, acknowledgment ingestion, and GL posting.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Supporting setup and certification of the net-new bank within Kyriba.
  • Ensuring alignment between Treasury operations and system design decisions.
  • Providing functional training, knowledge transfer, and documentation for Treasury and Accounting users.

Required Skills & Experience

  1. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience implementing and configuring Kyriba, with a strong focus on Payments Factory, Cash Accounting, and Bank Connectivity modules. Should be well-versed in designing and managing global payment workflows, including entity-level funding setups, static beneficiary templates, and wire payment automation.
  2. A deep understanding of ISO 20022 file formats—particularly pain.001 for payment initiation and camt.053/054 for acknowledgments and statements—is essential, along with familiarity in SWIFT and SEPA standards used across multi-bank integrations. Candidates must demonstrate proven expertise in integrating Kyriba with leading ERPs such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle, particularly for cash accounting and GL posting.
  3. The SME should possess a strong grasp of core treasury operations, including cash management, funding, intercompany transfers, and bank reconciliation, ensuring that the system design aligns with real-world treasury workflows. Hands-on experience in configuring and managing host-to-host (SFTP) or API-based bank connections.
  4. Candidates must also be proficient in testing and UAT management, capable of designing and executing multi-entity end-to-end test cycles that cover file generation, bank acknowledgment, and accounting reconciliation. Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills are critical to effectively coordinate between business, technology, and bank partners.
