Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Knowledge Management Lead Specialist to drive the strategy, implementation, and ongoing management of knowledge assets across the organization. This role focuses on ensuring that critical information and organizational knowledge are captured, organized, and accessible to support decision-making, collaboration, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in knowledge management practices, strong leadership skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive knowledge management strategy aligned with organizational goals.

  • Lead initiatives to capture, organize, and maintain critical organizational knowledge, including policies, procedures, best practices, and lessons learned.

  • Ensure knowledge resources are easily accessible, accurate, and up-to-date for all stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify knowledge gaps and implement solutions to address them.

  • Oversee the development and management of knowledge management tools, platforms, and technologies.

  • Promote a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning across the organization.

  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of knowledge management initiatives, using metrics to drive improvements.

  • Provide training and guidance to staff on knowledge management practices and tools.

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in knowledge management to continuously enhance organizational capabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Library Science, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's preferred.

  • 12+ years of experience in knowledge management, information management, or a related field.

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing knowledge management strategies and programs.

  • Strong understanding of knowledge management tools, platforms, and best practices.

  • Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive adoption of knowledge management initiatives.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience in creating and managing knowledge repositories, taxonomies, and workflows.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
