United Health Group here in Minnesota with a need for a Kafka/Integration Engineer. This position is being offered as a 12 months contract and I am including a brief description of what the client is seeking: C2C rate will depend on experience Skype Interviews 12 months contract Any type of employment authorization no H1B Responsibilities: Acts as a technical lead Kafka architect and developer during the product implementation Works with project team to define the best integration solution to meet business, functional and data requirements. In partnership with the project team, defines the logical sequence of integration activities to ensure success delivery. Supports required Cloud infrastructure and system components. Develop and Design integration patterns using Apache KAFKA (Data Streaming) Create technology solution to support critical business application to high levels of availability, stability, and performance. Configures complex data imports and process configuration across multiple upstream and downstream operating solutions/systems, spanning multiple lines of Healthcare lines of business (i.e. Health, Rx, Insights Provides solution oversight and guidance during design, configure, and test phases Develops, delivers, and supports critical enterprise technical capabilities in an Agile manner Manage critical business applications and contracted engagements to extremely high levels of availability, stability, and performance. Work with technology and business stakeholders to achieve successful implementation. Required Qualifications: 5+ years experience Scaling Production Applications (API, JAVA, Apache KAFKA, RABBIT MQ etc) 5+ years Integration experience 2+ years of Cloud application architecture experience Agile experience Self-Starter technologist Publishing to Apache KAFKA stream Client Data or CRM experience
