Required Qualifications 

• A degree in Marketing, English, or Creative Writing 

• 5+ years’ experience writing and / or copy editing at an advertising agency or in-house agency 

• Strong digital portfolio including web pages, websites / microsites, and product descriptions 

• Mastery of storytelling with the intent to convert customers and support sales goals 

• Consumer Product Goods, eCommerce and/or tech experience a huge plus 

• Development of response driven marketing experience preferred 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite 

• Proficiency in proofreading 

 1) Writes and edits customer-focused copy that meets AT&T brand voice and style guideline. 

2) Analyzes and works from a creative brief, marketing brief, or business requirements. 

3) Collaborates with information architects, designers, vendors, and other writers to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and build a messaging strategy for any given project. 

4) Is proactive, generates ideas, juggles multiple projects/assignments, pays close attention to detail, and meet short turnarounds and deadlines. 

5) Uses excellent communication skills to provide solid rationale for their content choices to win business partners over.” 

Roles & Responsibilities:  

1) Manage the end-to-end user experience for multiple concurring sales, services, and support projects. 2) Review and provide feedback on copy, images, and wireframes to create the best user experience.  

3) Ensure that deliverables meet Digital Experience style guide and editorial, SEO, and accessibility guidelines, and adhere to the AT&T Brand voice and tone.  

4) Provide content writing expertise for copy-related issues.  

5) Coordinate with other Leads to keep copy, images, and wireframes for various projects in sync, from a Digital Experience guidelines and standards perspective.  

6) Work with Producers to resolve project-related issues.  

7) Assigns project tasks to teammates and provide oversight of deliverables.  

8) Create original relevant, meaningful, and contextual copy that follows industry best-in-class practices. 

• Expertise in digital direct-response marketing 

• Develop promotional copy for offers and new products in a fast-paced retail environment 

• Create and maintain copy documents to share with design and content implementation teams 

• Attention to detail and accuracy and an ability to work within process 

• Collaborate with designers to develop web pages that drive a narrative, sell products and highlight offers. 

• Partner with designers, producers, and strategists to ensure creative supports AT&T’s marketing objectives 

• Ability to present work and rationalize the thinking behind it 

• Able to juggle multiple projects
