Increased productivity through more-rapid delivery of high-quality applications. Has oversight of all project deliverables for the delivery team for all testing SDLC methodologies and platforms. Effectively integrates an application solution into the broader business and IT ecosystem in which it will operate. Coordinates and facilitates quality assurance activities across projects with project managers. Application Lead Designers work with application development, storage, security and network architects to develop an overall approach to the delivery of each application. Determines which optimization techniques (protocol offload, caching, application firewalls and so on) are required and where they should be implemented (in the application, operating system, ADN or a managed ADN service Designs solutions, attends Architectural Review Board to represent solution delivery. Solution Architects conceptual design. Translating in to systems system requirements technical plan of attack. Certifies all solutions to be in compliance to architecture standards and application standards. Technology skills you bring with you: Excellent Object-oriented Java programming skills. Java SE library knowledge. Design, development and implementation of large scale, secure web based applications using Java/J2EE Architecture and object oriented design patterns. Hands on knowledge of Java 8 features: Functional interfaces and Lambda Expressions, Java Stream API for Bulk Data Operations on Collections. Spring framework modules, Spring Boot, Microservices. Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with AWS Cloud technologies preferred. Knowledge of Java persistence frameworks. Proficient with SQL for MS SQL Server and PLSQL for Oracle. Java Script, jQuery. SOAP and RESTful web services. Experience working on a team using the AGILE Scrum methodology.
