Role: Embedded Engineer

Description:
Able to write lot of code preferably in an older hard-typed, compiled language like C or C++ or even FORTRAN
Have hands on experience creating, debugging, deploying, and supporting a publish-subscribe messaging system using RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or Apache QPID.
Able to write and maintain "backend" software that is not directly connected to any kind of display device
Experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) and with no-sql persistence systems like MongoDB, Cassandra, and Hadoop that would also be a plus
Tremendous Experience with UNIX
Experience in manually configuring the Apache web server''s httpd.conf file to support multiple web URLs
Able to upgrade a system from Apache v2.2 to Apache v2.4
Able to install nd configure more than one kind of Linux distro: Debian, Ubuntu, SUSE, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or • CENTOS, or maybe even Sun Solaris, IBM AIX, or good old fashioned Berkeley Unix.
Able to configure multiple programs to run as UNIX daemons using the inetd mechanism
Experience with UNIX/LINUX Scripting
Worked with more than 1 kind of Unix or Linux has written scripts for each and every kind of Unix/Linux with which they are familiar
Knowledge of Scripting languages like Python are preferred
Ability to learn any new capability needed to finish the problem diagnosis without unduly delaying the diagnostics.
