Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned IT Solutions SME with 7+ years of experience in architecting, developing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise scale systems, preferably across multiple hardware and software platforms. This candidate should be detail oriented with a strong technology background and solid business, analytical, and deductive reasoning skills. Candidate must be able to thrive in a global environment and be able to influence change.
Responsibilities include:
Participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of new data delivery functionality to automate existing manual processes. The functionality will require but not be limited to a web interface, user authentication, real-time reporting, and execution of batch processes.
Participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated solutions to port existing functionality from a proprietary vendor Oracle backend solution to a SQL/.NET solution. The current solution supports monthly validation and packaging of 5MM – 7MM records for delivery to downstream financial systems.
Feature / Functionality development and technical support during quarterly and annual product planning and forecasting cycles.
Document all processes.
Technical Skills
The ideal candidate will have a BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Knowledge of SQL, data base design, web are the keys for success. Experience with Microsoft’s Power BI Platform is a plus.
Requirements:
7+ years’ experience developing object-oriented software systems.
7+ years’ experience with designing and implementing large-scale, N-tiered application architectures using ASP.NET and C#; Superior understanding of Microsoft .Net Framework, ASP.Net, C#, ADO.Net, RESTful API, MVC, WCF, Windows services, XML, JSON, SQL Server 2016 / 2019 and Visual Studio 2015 ~ 2019.
7+ years’ experience with relational database (Microsoft SQL Server/Oracle) driven web application development. Hands on experience in SQL stored procedures, trigger, view, T-SQL, SQL*Plus and schema design with heavy data processing.
7+ years’ experience with developing web applications that can run in Internet Explorer and Chrome using HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery and Angular code. Strong experience in optimizing web site performance and ability to resolve cross browser/platform compatibility issues; Experience with good security practices in application development preferred.
