Role: Infrastructure Analyst Location: Salt Lake City,Utah Job Summary: The candidate will be part of a highly motivated and talented pool of professional services organization, designing and implementing complex business applications solutions across several lines of businesses within FIS. The candidate will be responsible for Infrastructure design, installation, configuration, testing, security and maintenance of software applications during the life cycle of implementation of various business solutions. The candidate will act as technical liaison between FIS product development, business analysts, project management and client technical SMEs, in the area of infrastructure design and implementation. Expert career role with individual contribution expected. Highly experienced professional with broad and unique technical knowledge required. General Duties and Responsibilities: Establishes infrastructure standards, guidelines and quality assurance for software development and implementation environments deliverables, such as conceptual design, server and network topology, infrastructure sizing/capacity planning, networking and security specifications for external interfaces. Uses experience designing and deploying solutions in OpenShift container platform Understand continuous releases and other Cloud methodologies Creates, tests and maintains S/W build, packaging and installation processes, industry best practices. Installs, configures, debug and maintain business S/W applications on various infrastructure platforms. Evaluates, tests and implements new versions and patches for infrastructure S/W for optimal performance and upkeep of systems under control. Creates, implements and maintains security certificates for secured system connections Participates in quality assurance and performance engineering of applications Assists developers and tester in debugging S/W issues by analyzing server logs and remediating. Point of contact for infrastructure matters with client technical resources. Analyzes and advises client technical resources on infrastructure/environmental/configuration issues pertaining to FIS applications and related base S/W. Technical liaison between development teams and infrastructure operations to establish and maintain network connectivity, firewall rules, security/access/authentication , debug and resolve any issues insuring high availability of SW development and test environments. Researches, evaluates and recommends software and hardware products. Provides new hardware specifications to users based on application needs and anticipated growth. Produces architectural designs using common tools such as Visio and PowerPoint Other related duties assigned as needed. Education and Required Skills: BS or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related fields. 5-7 years of working experience in related information technology fields. Strong communication skills. Strong working knowledge of Websphere Strong working knowledge of Openshift. Strong hands-on experience deploying applications and managing running instances on Openshift platform Experience working with Jenkins, Confluence, Bitbucket, JIRA and other Atlassian tools. Strong JBOSS Admin skills. Strong UNIX Admin skills Working knowledge of networking concepts firewall, proxy/reverse proxy, network routing Working knowledge of network security Basic shell or other scripting knowledge Overall broad knowledge of various Hardware and Networking components Understanding of systems used in the banking and financial services industry Required Skills : WebSphere, OpenShift, Jenkins Recent banking industry experience Additional Skills : Long term primarily remote contract! Travel to San Diego and Phoenix, AZ required.
