Please review the following job description and let me know if you are available and willing to apply Role: Senior Linux/ Unix Administrator Location: Long Island City, NY Duration: Long Term Contract Experience: 10 years Remote during Covid lockdown Responsibilities: Management of physical Oracle T5 and T7 series and HPE Superdome, in an Enterprise Data Center environment. Installation and configuration of Solaris operating system and Logical domains. Installation and configuration of Red Hat Linux operating system and Red Hat virtualization. Configuration of Veritas File System and ZFS file system and Veritas VCS clustering software for system failover. Utilization of system monitoring tools to manage and troubleshoot server issues. Creating and modifying UNIX shell scripts to manage and automate server processes. Work closely with DBAs on Oracle database installation and configuration. Monitor all UNIX database backup and restore operation.
