8+ years experience as a software developer/architect with a strong development background in Java/J2EE
B.S. in Computer Sciences or related field.
Experience with Java EE 6/7
Prior experience with SQL, Linux, and general Unix shell scripting
Knowledge of Oracle databases and PL/SQL
Prior experience in using products/frameworks for web development such as Spring, Micro services, Angular, AJAX, EJBs; ORMs and parsing tools such as Hibernate, Castor, and JAXB.
Experience using UML standard design artifacts such as class models and sequence diagrams.
Experience with J2EE patterns, development best practices, and iterative methodologies (RUP, XP, FDD
Able to work independently on routine assignments, such as maintaining and modifying existing application programs.
Comfortable with Java IDE''s such as Eclipse.
Experience troubleshooting and resolving application defects within a mature production system.

Description of Skills Needed:
Bachelor''s degree in computer science or engineering with two years post-baccalaureate experience in finance

Five years of experience designing/building technical solutions

Description of Responsibilities:
Following the direction of the Lead Java Developer, support a home grown java based application (Fintrac), which supports the finance space, as well as other duties as indicated. There will be a monthly on-call rotation that the resource will participate in with the expectation that they receive 2-3 evening support calls a month related to batch processing.
