Position: Cloud Engineer(with GCP)
Location: Frisco, TX
Duration: Long Term
Core Responsibilities:
5+ years of overall IT experience
Participate in planning, designing and developing Google Cloud applications as per client requirement.
Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts (PODS, Daemon sets), Container storage (options for stateful and stateless), Container networking technologies.
Strong understanding and experience in architecting and setting up Containers based environment using Kubernetes.
Working experience in GCP server installation, configuration and storage administration.
Expert level experience writing scripts for automation.
Deploying and debugging cloud initiatives as needed in accordance with best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
Implement new Google Cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training as required.
Managing cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines.
Work closely with the architect to design networks, systems, and storage environment that effectively reflect business needs, security requirements, and service level requirements.
Strong understanding of GCP infrastructure
Building and designing web services in the cloud, along with implementing the set-up of geographically redundant services.
Stay current with industry trends, making recommendations as needed to help the company excel.
Google Cloud Certified will be preferred.
