Overview : The Process Re-Engineering Analyst is responsible for partnering with business owners to build operational efficiencies and effectiveness for value added business processes. This includes overseeing the documentation and re-engineering of legacy processes using robotic process automation. This role will work with business owners and the technology team to optimize automation including AI, machine learning, and RPA to achieve improvements in work efficiency, productivity, responsiveness, and decreased costs, increasing overall quality of service delivery (end-to-end) in the back office to support the member experience. Serving as a liaison between the technical team and business units, this role supports the identification and implementation of cost-effective robotics automation solutions by coordinating detailed technical requirements, design, and integration with other appropriate technologies. This includes being responsible for supporting the delivery of full life cycle RPA solutions: Identifying automation opportunities, conducting business process analysis, documenting the design, and supporting implementation, testing, and deployment of targeted automation solutions.

Responsibilities:

* Partner with business owners, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders to understand, document, and implement effective business processes that meet/exceed the desired business outcomes.
* Identify and support enhancements to our systems and internal process standards/practices leveraging RPA, AI, machine learning, data & analytics that will drive scalability and speed and improve overall quality service delivery for our organization.
* Support delivery of multiple robotics process automation (RPA) initiatives across the credit union; manage program deliverables while maintaining adherence to governance and change management process.
* Identify and support enhancements to our systems and internal process standards/practices leveraging RPA, AI, machine learning, data & analytics that will drive scalability and speed and improve overall quality service delivery for our organization.
* Support and manage all phases of the RPA project lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and retirement. Track process with established best practice Agile Lifecycle Management tools.
* Responsible for detailed analysis, use case definition, business requirements gathering, and user test case creation to provide an end- to-end overview of the proposed business processes.
* Capture current-state process workflows, develop process automation requirements, and design robotic process automation solutions, architecture, and logic.
* Collaborate with information technology security to ensure the highest product security standards are met.
* Create clear technical documentation of automation solutions for RPA developers to implement.
* Design and deliver proof-of-concept automation solutions to demonstrate the viability of automation in client environments.
* Support RPA developers with development activities and assist with troubleshooting and resolving development/production issues.
* Manage and support testing (unit, integration, performance, acceptance) using standard tools and following established processes and guidelines and manage sign-off of automated solutions with business stakeholders and the RPA developers.
* Work with business stakeholders to understand the productivity impact of the automation by calculating and creating reporting to document and communicate the outcomes as a result of automations.
* Contribute to the RPA development best practices. Develop and document best practices for operating software robots.
* Deliver demos, technical writing and support for new/existing business and technical teams.
* Provide knowledge transfer/support/assistance to application development and support teams.
* Create and deliver high quality business presentations to key stakeholders, and management as necessary. Includes proactive participation in Program Iteration planning sessions.
* Work effectively with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and members of cross-functional teams including technology resources to overcome obstacles, and gain alignment to move forward.
* May oversee work progress of contract developers.
* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S from a four- year college or university is required.
* At least three years demonstrated experience with process engineering or process analysis, with at least two years’ experience applying this to robotic process automation.
* At least three years’ experience in financial services operations, lending, or deposit product management is required.
* Strong experience with projects using automation and robotic tools (e.g. Automation Anywhere, UI Path, Blue Prism, Pega, or similar
* Demonstrated experience in methods for business process improvement and process reengineering (e.g. Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean) including process mapping, journey mapping, and value stream mapping.
* Demonstrated experience with Agile Lifecycle Management tools (e.g. Target Process, Jira, or similar
* Mastery in MS Office package, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
* Experience with some or all of the following programming languages is preferred:
* C# and/or Java, html, CSS
* Microsoft Technology (VB .NET, Windows, Internet Explorer, SQL Server, Web Services)
* Scripting languages (e.g., python, Perl, PowerShell, bash, vbs, etc
* Possesses strong critical thinking skills. Ability to creatively identify opportunities for process improvements.
* Be independent and self-driven. Ability to demonstrate solid judgment, problem solving, and independent decision-making skills.
* Has knowledge of best practices for robotic process automation and the ability to influence the adoption of best practices.
* Ability to apply knowledge and experience to document and implement solutions in partnership with subject matter experts, business owners, and key stakeholders.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills- ability to communicate at all levels.
* Experienced in facing adversity and navigating through stressful situations to achieve resolution.
* A proven track record of demonstrating innovation and change management/re-engineering.
* Has knowledge of best practices for robotic process automation and the ability to influence the adoption of best practices.
* Effectively collaborates with others to achieve organizational goals.
* Advanced planning and organizing skills to deliver workload in timely manner.
