Senior DevOps Engineer
Do you love building in the technology space, who love to solve real problems and meet customer needs? We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps engineer who is passionate about automation and wants to be part of the team building an enterprise wide platform with a centrally supported cloud-hosted scaled infrastructure. You will be an integral member of a dynamic team continuously improving our Enterprise Automation platform with a mindset to automate and innovate in support of our rapidly expanding product portfolio.
.What You'll Do:
Automate the provisioning of environments in AWS, building infrastructure from the ground up with Terraform & deploying applications using public cloud infrastructure.
Design and develop automation workflows, performing unit tests and conducting reviews to make sure your work is rigorously designed, elegantly coded, and effectively tuned for platform performance and resiliency, while constantly assessing the overall quality of delivered components.
Develop automation tools, scripts or software for maintaining each platform, and to enable self-service capabilities for users using scripting or REST API's.
Clearly communicate technical information to stakeholders. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must due to the dynamic nature of collaborations with leadership, vendors, and other engineering teams, solving complex business problems together.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
At least 4 years of experience in DevOps Engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
At least 2 years of experience with Cloud Native technologies (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
At least 2 years of Unix or Linux system administration experience
Preferred Qualifications:
7+ years of experience with Terraform or Ansible
7+ years of experience with container orchestration services including Docker or Kubernetes
7+ experience with coding and scripting (Python, SQL, Java, JavaScript, Golang, Bash, Perl or Ruby)
7+ years of experience working with Agile Development Practices --
