Job Title: SharePoint Support/Application Support Analyst

Location: Rockville, MD (Onsite)

Duration: 9+ months contract

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Managing and transitioning SharePoint On-Prem Infrastructure to SharePoint Online
  • Planning & implementing approved project requests for SharePoint Online
  • Keeping up to date with SharePoint Online developments, perform PoC, and the ability to recommend and implement enhancements.
  • Development Activities - Site creation/Modification/Customization per business requirements
  • Meeting with the design team to review website and application requirements.
  • Setting tasks and development goals
  • Configuring the company SharePoint systems to specified requirements.
  • Designing, coding, and implementing scalable applications
  • Extending SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, and application technologies
  • Process flow standardization and optimizing the service requests by converting manual process to service catalogs in Service-Now
  • Integrating applications, creating & managing libraries, workflows
  • Implementing RBAC and custom roles per business & security needs
  • Performing data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data loss.
  • Performing maintenance of the SharePoint platform & servers
  • Troubleshooting and resolving SharePoint issues or malfunctions
  • Ensuring sufficient storage space by performing clean-ups and archiving data
  • Reviewing usage and activity reports and adjusting ensure optimized user-experiences.
  • Work on M365 & collaboration support requests comprising OneDrive, Email & other M365 suite related products.
  • Customize, Analyze, and share PowerBI reports for leadership consumption.

 Required:

  • 7+ years of proven experience in SharePoint Administration/Development
  • Extensive knowledge of M365, Windows operating systems, as well as SQL Server, Power BI & PowerShell
  • Knowledge of SharePoint tools, including ULS Logs, workflows, and SharePoint forms for tasks
  • Superb collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships with customers, partners, and developers across the business at all levels.
  • Able to manage relationships with peers and managers as it relates to support and services.
  • Ability to navigate complexity and create collaborative, cross-functional solutions.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • High degree of organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
