Description:
Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable Ruby, Analysis of Application code, Tune code, write Procedures, perform indexing, and other elements
• Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization
• Maintain responsibility for analysis of Incident Tickets & Resolution, supply to Continual Service Improvement Programs
• Onshore and offshore point of contacts to review quality of work you're doing, work papers, audit/ assessment reports
• Tackle and resolve production problems with new insights
• Regular interaction (in person, email and over phone) with business and technical partners locally and globally for status update, requirement discussions, discussion around solution/approach etc
• Identifying, fixing bottlenecks, bugs and Maintaining, fixing web applications
• Establish POCs to validate the client solutions
• System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains
• Evaluate new technology options and vendor products
• Establish a dialogue with the client to achieve trusted technical adviser status
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications
• Hands on experience in Ruby on Rails, Ruby, Golang, MySQL, PostgreSQL, GIT, R Spec, JQuery, Ajax, CSS, HTML, Jira/TFS, XML, and Agile SCRUM methodologies, UNIX/LINUX environment
• Good understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances
• Experience on Payment integration
• Passion for writing great, simple, clean, efficient code
• Good knowledge of relational databases, shown problem management and analytical capabilities
• Attention to detail, with ability to produce clear, concise documentation
• Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
