Inteon, funded by EGI in 2020, is Intel’s first Machine Programming venture. We are currently seeking a talented and customer-obsessed engineer to join our team and help ensure the success of our first customers. The successful candidate will act as the primary interface between our early external design partners and our product development team, will supervise and coordinate the efforts of our sales engineering team, will own the technical relationship with key external customers, and will work with the account management team to help these partners to help these customers reach their desired outcome with Inteon’s software optimization platform.

• Knowledge, experience, and passion for making customers AI/deep learning developers successful
• Ability to coordinate the efforts of a team of five or more contingent workers
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Team first attitude and well-developed teamwork skills
• Familiarity with modern CPU and GPU hardware architectures
• Creativity and determination to overcome problems and achieve results quickly
• Experience solving performance optimization issues for performance-critical code
• Understanding of benchmarking process and procedures
• Broad knowledge of deep learning algorithms, models, frameworks, development workflows, development tools, and deployment environments
• Working knowledge of compilers and compiler optimization technology
• Self-motivation and the ability to achieve results in a distributed company environment

This position is virtual but the expectation is to work primarily during U.S. west coast hours.
Education
• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Minimum Qualifications
• 5+ years of code development experience (C/C++, Python, or similar)
• 5+ years working in a customer-facing role (co-development, enabling, technical support, etc.)
• 2+ years developing deep learning models for production environments
• 2+ years deploying full-stack solutions on AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Demonstrated knowledge of deep learning optimization tools such as TVM, Tensor Comprehensions, Glow, nGraph or XLA
• 2+ years field services / sales engineering experience
