Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Kubernetes Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of virtualized and containerized infrastructure across bare metal and cloud environments. This is a key technical role that demands deep handson experience with Kubernetes ecosystems, container networking (CNI), Rancher, and bare-metal orchestration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-availability platforms across bare metal and cloud infrastructures.
- Drive design reviews, testing strategies, and deployment planning for modern infrastructure solutions.
- Develop and maintain architectural documentation using C4 models, UML, and sequence diagrams.
- Ensure resilience, observability, and security in large-scale distributed systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with DevOps, engineering, and product teams in Agile environments.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:

Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, APIs, lifecycle management, and production-grade deployments.

Proven experience implementing bare metal Kubernetes solutions, using tools such as LXC/LXD, Podman, K3s, etc.

Strong Linux OS, virtualization (KVM/QEMU), networking, and storage fundamentals.

Deep hands-on experience with Container Networking (CNI):

Calico, Cilium, Multus, eBPF, etc.

Proficiency with Container Storage (CSI) integrations: o Ceph, GlusterFS, Longhorn.

Operational expertise with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools:
Preferred/Bonus Skills:

Familiarity with cloud-native Kubernetes deployments (especially on AWS).

Experience with Kubernetes management platforms such as: o Rancher, Portainer, or Rafay (strong preference for Rancher).

Knowledge of Kubernetes Operator development patterns.

Strong documentation, communication, and cross-team leadership capabilities.
