Job Description:

Our client, a consumer products company in Needham, MA, is in need of an Application Administrator for a three-month contract-to-hire position. The Administrator will be working on the client’s Enterprise Content & Collaboration team, providing a common platform for internal and external users and teams to collaborate, and a common place to share information and interact. Core responsibilities entail providing first-level support for client’s suite of Atlassian products (with focus on Jira) – specifically, access, permissions, setting up teams, creating dashboards, writing queries, etc. The Administrator will also be configuring workflows, coordinating with UAT for upgrades/enhancements, and building knowledge articles.  Users include product managers, software engineers, QA engineers, project managers, and marketing and business users working together on agile teams to build and support our products.



Required skills:


2+ years’ experience as an Administrator of Atlassian Applications
Must have over a year of experience with administering Jira specifically
Confluence experience is a major plus
Bitbucket experience is a major plus
Knowledge of the SDLC and Agile product development
Some experience working in an Agile environment is required
Previous experience using Java Script, Shell Scripting, and/or PowerShell Scripting
Strong communication and collaboration skills
