Position: Jira Admin/Scrum Master

Our client is hiring a Jira Adm.in with Project Management/Scrum Master experience

Responsibilities:

Work with teams to understand specific Jira needs, including training
Develop and drive processes, capabilities, and controls related to Jira
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to solve application issues, system integration deficiencies, and process breakdowns
Analyze data, process flows and automation between applications and teams to identify trends, patterns and opportunities to scale & potential areas of improvement
Develop and maintain business process design documentation (data maps, process flows, system integration diagrams and departmental interdependencies)
Recommend, test, install, and configure Jira plugins and add-ons
Manage user permissions for tools according to the needs of projects and teams.
Test new versions of the tools and plug-ins to ensure compatibility.
Research and utilize industry standard methods and techniques.
Maintain JIRA projects, workflows, permissions, and users
Work with JIRA filters, reporting, dashboards, workflows, fields, and JIRA administration.
Construct custom dashboards using various filter types in JIRA
Construct Confluence pages and integrate JIRA projects with Confluence pages
Automate builds within Jira
Build metrics and KPIs across requirements, design, development, build, testing and production support areas.
Communicate and share knowledge with internal and external contacts at all levels.
Strong analytical skills.
Oversee scrum process and coaches' team on how best to use scrum and Agile practices.
Manage interdependencies between agile teams.
May lead more than one scrum team; moderate to high complexity projects.
Facilitate daily scrums, sprint reviews, and planning meetings to ensure full team engagement.
Work with the Product Owners to support short and long-term release planning, leadership visibility, appropriate prioritization, and to keep work backlog healthy and prepared for execution.
Shield the teams from external interference to enable optimal functionality and productivity.
Anticipate and address potential or actual impediments to team delivery (cultural barriers, logistic challenges)
Ability to work in a dynamic agile environment.
Must have strong work ethic with good time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
