JDE Functional (can be Fin or Mfg.)

Location: Remote - US or Canada is fine

Time Zone: Pacific Time zone support with flexibility for overlap with India and some evening support coverage on call

This is for a support project to support a legacy customized solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support JD Edwards functional implementations across Finance (GL, AP, AR, FA) and/or Manufacturing (BOM, MRP, Shop Floor, Inventory, Procurement) modules.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into functional design specifications.
  • Configure JDE applications to meet business needs and ensure alignment with industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on customizations, integrations, reports, and interfaces.
  • Support end-to-end project lifecycle including design, build, testing (SIT/UAT), deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Conduct functional testing, UAT support, and defect resolution.
  • Provide guidance on process optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare functional documentation, user guides, and deliver end-user training.
  • Work in Agile / hybrid delivery models and participate in client workshops and solution reviews.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience as a JD Edwards Functional Consultant.
  • Strong functional knowledge of JDE Finance and/or Manufacturing modules.
  • Experience with JDE EnterpriseOne (E1) implementations or rollouts.
  • Solid understanding of business processes, data flows, and controls.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in large enterprise environments.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
