JDE Distribution Functional Consultant

Remote work

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support JD Edwards Distribution modules, including:
    • Sales Order Management (SOM)
    • Procurement / Purchasing
    • Inventory Management
    • Logistics / Warehouse Management
    • Pricing, Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Configure JDE applications to align with business processes and industry best practices.
  • Support end-to-end project lifecycle: design, configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on customizations, reports, interfaces, and integrations.
  • Perform functional testing, support UAT, and resolve defects.
  • Advise clients on process optimization, controls, and continuous improvement within distribution operations.
  • Prepare functional documentation, SOPs, and conduct end-user training.
  • Work within Agile or hybrid delivery models and participate in workshops, sprint ceremonies, and solution reviews.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience as a JD Edwards Distribution Functional Consultant.
  • Strong expertise in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) Distribution modules.
  • Solid understanding of Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay business processes.
  • Experience working on implementations, rollouts, or support engagements.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working in large enterprise or system integrator environments.
